GEORGIA HIT THE BUSINESS INSIDER RATING
Georgia was also included in the Business Insider article, which reviews countries that offer special offers and visa conditions for working remotely, under the “Work from Georgia” program.
We would like to remind you that people using the program can perform their professional duties from Georgia for at least 180 days. According to the latest data, up to 1,000 people have registered as participants in the “Work from Georgia” project and have expressed a desire to enter the country and work remotely.
Like our country, a mutually beneficial offering has already been launched in 14 countries, and in this way countries are trying to support the local economy, and people are embarking on their own desires and unfulfilled journeys over the years.
The list of Business Insider includes Mauritius in East Africa, which allows foreigners to stay and work in the area for one year. As the Mauritius Economic Development Council reports, the main requirement is that the applicant be self-employed or work in another country. They should also be able to stay on the island for a long time, including renting a house, meals and insurance.
Cayman Island also offers remote work opportunities for 24 months. According to the website of the Department of Tourism, in order to apply, employees must prove that they work outside the Cayman Islands and that they can earn at least 100 thousand dollars a year. Applicants also need a notarized bank and health insurance certificate. The main advantage of the island is the fact that those who come here are exempt from taxes for two years.
Antigua and Barbuda have an offer for lovers of exotic life, with the difference that in order to earn the right to life, it is important to earn at least 50 thousand dollars a year if you decide to travel with your family. In the case of one person, the required salary is € 1,500.
Another country is Dubai, with a one-year offer for non-citizens, during which interested parties will be able to open a local bank account, get a local phone number and internet access, and also take their children to school. Among the benefits here, too, is the tax exemption.
The list also includes the Caribbean, Aruba, where those interested will enjoy discounts on hotels and restaurants for 90 days. The limitation, however, is that it is available to anyone who only has a U.S. passport.
As for Barbados, it was the first to devise and implement a similar program for non-citizens. Applications in this country are available from July.
Bermuda also has an interesting offer, which also started accepting applications in July and invites both remote workers and students. However, according to the Bermuda Government, applicants must be over 18 years of age, have health insurance, and have proof of employment or enroll in an educational program.
Mexico also offers the possibility of temporary residence, the time is defined as one year, however, as we read in the offer, it can be extended if desired, for an additional three years. The main thing is for the applicant to have an income of more than € 1,620 and to work outside the country.
As for Europe, similar programs have been launched for anyone except American citizens, in Estonia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Portugal and Spain. So the countries listed are trying to offer better conditions to people so that as many people as possible can be interested, attracted, decide on temporary residence and in this way be able to strengthen the economy as well as activate the tourism sector.
